If you’re bringing your car to us there is no limit to the area we cover but if you would like us to collect and deliver your car back to you we cover London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Being manufacturer approved means that all our technicians undergo thorough and ongoing training, we use only genuine and approved parts with manufacturer’s warranty, we use only manufacturer approved paint and materials, and your manufacturer’s body warranty is protected.

After you’ve informed your insurance company that you have been in an accident and you would like Pentagon Paint & Body to repair your vehicle just contact our customer service team and they will manage the rest of the claim process for you.

Yes, you will need to notify your insurer and get a claim number before appointing us, but after that we can handle the rest for you.

You can bring your vehicle to us at our Hatfield Repair Centre or we can arrange to collect it from you.

Repair times will vary depending on the work involved in the repair but we will be able to provide you an estimate once we’ve assessed the vehicle; and once work is underway we will give you regular updates on progress at your preferred frequency and via your preferred contact method.

A replacement car is offered, you’ll just need to arrange insurance cover or we can arrange it for you for a small daily charge.

Over time, the air con system will lose gas; this will need to be recharged along with essential lubricant. As well as keeping you cool, a serviced air conditioning system will be more efficient improving your vehicle’s fuel consumption.

We will provide regular updates on the progress of the repair at a frequency and contact method of your choice.

Your air conditioning unit should be regularly checked and serviced to ensure it is working to the highest potential. We recommend servicing your air conditioning at a minimum every 2-3 years.

Air conditioning checks and servicing are not carried out as part of a standard car service so you may still require an air conditioning service even if your car has already had its service.

Misaligned wheels can lead to uneven wear and can directly impact the handling of your vehicle. Using the latest laser alignment equipment and technology, we can ensure precision alignment for your vehicle. Regular alignment will prolong the life of your tyres and prevent uneven wear.

Some of the signs of misalignment might include uneven tyre wear or your vehicle pulling to one side.

The law requires car tyres to have a minimum tread depth of 1.6mm in a continuous band around the central three quarters of the tyre. 

You might notice a change in the handling of your car, it may not grip the road as well in wet weather or may take longer to stop when you apply the brakes. Manufacturers often mould tread bars at 1.6mm to help you judge the wear of your tyres. For safety though, most manufacturers recommend that you change your tyres at 3mm.
